Walk a Little Slower

Walk a little slower Daddy,
Said a little child so small.
I'm following in your footsteps,
And I do not want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see.
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.

Someday when I am all grown up,
You're what I want to be.
Then I will have a little child,
Who'll want to follow me.

And, I would want to lead just right,
And, I'd know that I was true.
So, walk a little slower Daddy.
For I must follow you.

　　感謝家長的分享，因為這則小品提醒了大人們：我們常常會要求孩子不論是學習或走路都要跟上，但卻忘了孩子畢竟是孩子，他們還在探索身旁的事務，有時可能因為好奇而停下腳步；有時因為累了而想休息一下；有時真的是前面的大人走太快而跟不上腳步。但不管如何，孩子最後總是會跟上！因此下次看到孩子沒跟上腳步時，放慢腳步等等他（她）；孩子的學習速度如果不如預期，也多給他們一些時間學習，相信他們一定會趕上的！
